Every trainee played an active role in the installation, gaining practical, hands-on experience while contributing to an improvement that will benefit the Centre every day. To support efficient water management, the team also installed a water meter to accurately monitor the kitchen's water usage.

This installation reflects our Handshakes Not Handouts approach, where trainees use their skills to make a real difference. With running water now available in the kitchen, meal preparation and other daily activities will be easier, benefiting everyone at the Arise Centre.

Through our Handshakes Not Handouts approach, trainees gained practical experience while improving the Arise Centre's facility.
