Pilot Distribution of Arise Maternity Packs at Tom Mboya Level 4 Hospital

Last month, we delivered 15 Arise Maternity Packs to Tom Mboya Level 4 Hospital and conducted a training session with Maternal and Child Health (MCH) nurses on the use and care of the packs.

The hospital purchased the packs as part of a pilot initiative aimed at supporting mothers and encouraging facility-based deliveries. As part of the arrangement, the hospital will refer mothers who express interest in the packs and share beneficiary data to support monitoring, learning, and feedback during the pilot phase.

This pilot is intended to generate learning on how maternity support packs can be integrated into routine maternal care within the facility, and to help inform how such an intervention may be strengthened or expanded in the future.

We are encouraged by the start of this pilot and the collaboration with the hospital team, and we look forward to sharing updates as it progresses.
