Empowering Women Through Community Education
This year, we are celebrating 160 women who have graduated from eight community learning centres through the Enkakenya Sidai Initiative in Kajiado County. The women have gained knowledge and skills in adult literacy, sexual and reproductive health, menstrual health, family planning and entrepreneurship, strengthening their ability to make informed choices and pursue opportunities.
The achievement was marked with a National Celebration at Olenarau Primary School, held in partnership with other civil society organisations. Learners, community members and partners came together to celebrate the graduates and recognise this important milestone.
For the graduates, this achievement is a step forward, giving them a stronger foundation to build on what they have learned and put that knowledge into practice.
We are proud of the impact this initiative has made. With your support, we can continue expanding access to learning and creating more pathways for women to build brighter futures. Support this work by donating here: Olobelibel, Kenya
